Extensive experience managing and mentoring London businesses
100+ Years of business experience across our London mentorship team
It's easy to see why London is such a powerhouse for business. Not only has it overtaken New York as the world's leading centre of global finance, but it's also a vibrant, culturally and socially rich environment which inspires innovation. Household names, including Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Sir Richard Branson and Lord Alan Sugar, all started their journeys in London.
The challenge for businesses, however, is that with so much competition for attention, customers and investment, how do you make sure your company not only stands out but stands head and shoulders above the rest? That’s exactly what our London business mentors do: help business owners develop clear strategies, strengthen their leadership, and achieve sustainable growth. With the support of our experienced business mentors, entrepreneurs can gain the insight, guidance, and strategic direction needed to overcome challenges and unlock new opportunities.
Every partnership starts with a no-obligation, complimentary consultation. We take the time to understand your business, goals, and challenges.
Once we know a bit more about you and your business, we will pair you with one or more of our London business mentors with expertise and specialisms in your industry.
Your dedicated London mentor will meet with you and your team to carry out a thorough review of your business using our proven Your Business Model framework. We will review leadership, people, financials, sales, and operations to identify exactly where opportunities and weaknesses lie.
With the insights from your review, we work with you to build a clear, actionable strategic plan for growth. Where relevant, this will include a longer-term exit plan tailored to your personal goals.
We work with you on an ongoing basis, meeting regularly, holding you accountable, and being on hand as your business evolves. No long contracts. No jargon. Just practical guidance from someone who's been there.
By investing in our London business mentoring services, business owners can benefit from expert guidance tailored to London’s competitive business environment. With experience across industries including finance, technology, media, and fashion, our mentors provide relevant and practical support designed to help entrepreneurs make informed business decisions.
Connections to London's extensive network of investors and industry leaders allow our mentors to offer valuable insights and strategic partnerships. This deep local knowledge is essential for fostering growth, innovation and success in one of the world's most dynamic business environments.
Mentoring isn't one-size-fits-all, especially for established businesses. Our mentors recognise that every business has unique aspirations and challenges which require different approaches to meet them.
Regardless of whether you’re a finance broker in Canary Wharf, a construction business in Camden or an antique dealer in Brentford, our business mentoring services are customised to suit your industry, size, and objectives. We work closely with businesses to create a personalised plan that aligns with your vision, helping you achieve your business dreams.

We become their ‘unreasonable friend’, which means we will ask the question or maybe say the thing that business owners may not want to hear but know that it’s done for their benefit. To learn more, download our client brochure by clicking the link down below.
Business mentoring is a long-term relationship with a trusted adviser who gets to know you, your business and your goals. As business mentors, we challenge your thinking, act as a sounding board, and guide you through every stage of growth.
Meanwhile, business coaching tends to be more focused and shorter-term, targeting specific skills or performance goals. At UKBM, we offer both, and many clients benefit from a blend of the two depending on where they are in their business journey.
Our programmes are tailored to each business, so costs vary depending on the level of support you need. The best starting point is our complimentary initial session, which gives you the chance to discuss your goals with one of our London business mentors at no cost and no obligation. Get in touch to arrange yours.
That's entirely up to you. Some clients meet their mentor weekly, others fortnightly, monthly or quarterly. We are flexible and will try to accommodate your business and your diary. Sessions are face-to-face and typically run between one and a half to three hours. Outside of scheduled meetings, your mentor is available by phone virtually any time you need them.
Most business owners don't realise they need a mentor until they're already stretched thin. If you're finding it hard to step back and work on the business rather than in it, struggling with decisions around growth, people or profitability, or simply feeling like there's no one in the business you can talk to openly, those are the clearest signs.
A mentor gives you the outside perspective, honest challenge and strategic support that's almost impossible to get from within your own four walls. If any of that sounds familiar, our complimentary first session is a no-pressure way to find out what's possible.
