Berkshire has for many years been known for its agriculture but also being the preferred location for many tech companies. When space in London started to be limited for these companies, many decided to move to Bracknell and surrounding area. The extent of these companies moving to the area is so great that Bracknell is now being referred to as the ‘Silicon Valley’ of the Thames Valley.
Honda moved its UK headquarters to the town in the past decade and with the construction of the Shinfield studios in the neighbouring borough of Wokingham, the tone is set for developing a further ‘Cine Valley’. The University of Reading is the driving force behind the new development as this is part of their ‘Innovation Valley’ which also saw development of the SME innovation hub providing facilities for SME to rent offices and space for R&D projects.
With the investment and drive behind these developments the future is looking promising for the ever-changing valleys within the Thames Valley.

I spent 20 years in the corporate world primarily supporting businesses with various types of finance. Through this came a passion for the two things that dominated my career, helping people and enabling business growth.
"We have been working with Paul Clarke for over 6 months and have found his experience, input, ideas, questions and suggestions to be invaluable. Whilst any business can take time to do things better they often don't because there is something more pressing. Having a third party viewpoint adds another dimension to any business and having regular meetings helps maintain momentum and invigorates what we do and how we're doing it. I’d sum it up as a bit like having fitness sessions with a personal trainer. Whilst you can take yourself to the gym, without a pre-booked session you would probably not go and if you did, not be sure what best to focus on when you got there."
"Chris at UK Business Mentoring has been supporting me over the past year with the development of our company. I have found his advise and our time together to be extremely beneficial and professional."
"Chris May has provided advice to a cross section of our team in both targeted group sessions and individual one to one coaching. His easy and respectful manner has enabled people to open up and get value from the sessions"
"Anne Williams has been a solid and extremely useful business coach. I have found our meetings to be very valuable."
