“I am thankful for Steve Drake's mentorship these past three months. It was an honour to learn from someone with a wealth of experience he has gained over the years. Steve's guidance has taught me to see things from a new perspective. Earlier this year, I felt drained and unsure of the direction of Light Foundations. Despite creating a vision board and sharing it with colleagues. I was worried about the possibility of the organisation declining after two successful years. I reached out to my previous mentor who introduced me to Steve Drake. After meeting with Steve, I felt energised and motivated. He helped me focus on reconnecting with the core mission of Light Foundations. Which has been key in determining which opportunities to pursue and how to utilise resources and contacts. Thanks to Steve's guidance, I am now very confident, have a clear picture of the organisation's direction, and know how to identify and manage risks, present opportunities to the team, and leverage existing contacts. In the past years, we have been busy providing support to everyone, but now I understand that being single-minded in empowering young people is the real path to making a greater impact for Light Foundations.
