Start-rite is a brand of children's shoes. The shoemaker, purportedly Britain's oldest and one of the first manufacturers in Norfolk, was established in 1792 in Norwich, England, by James Smith. His grandson, James Southall, gave the firm its current name.
A very current Norfolk entrepreneur Marietta Hickman is poised to see her baked goods sold in shops nationwide after being named one of the country's top young innovators. Cheeky Nibble was born because Marietta wanted to recreate her childhood happiness of enjoying truly delicious breakfast cereal whilst reading her morning comic. Her handmade granola clusters, which come in a range of traditional British dessert flavours, are sold in the famous London department store Selfridges.
They can also be found in independent shops across the UK and online.
